Earth Day 22nd April

 

As in 1970, Earth Day 2010 came at a time of great challenge for the environmental community to combat the cynicism of climate change deniers, well-funded oil lobbyists, reticent politicians, a disinterested public, and a divided environmental community with the collective power of global environmental activism. 

On this year's Earth Day, we find oorselves floating above the Karula National Park. Visiting the jewel of Estonia feels appropiate for Earth Day as it is home to a variety of endangered species .

Some facts about EARTH.

i. Earth's atmosphere is 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% of other ingredients , which makes it the perfect place to live and breathe.

ii. The Earth's inner core is about the same temperature of the sun.
